Miami’s Art Deco District is a magnet for visitors from around the world. While Art Deco architecture may seem out of step with the contemporary hipster culture commonly associated with Miami, many visitors prefer an independent collection of hotels that offer examples of the best in Art Deco style. In your search for hotels in Miami, the amenities that separate one hotel from another can begin to blur. But if you are willing to go outside the lines, then consider one of these boutique hotels famous for their independence, glitz, and glamour, each offering a different celebration of the Art Deco architectural style

Blue Moon Hotel
The Blue Moon Hotel is your luxury designer boutique hotel that sits in the middle of South Beach activity but holds its own as a quiet oasis. Imagine a place where you go to refresh and renew but has an urban vibe. Your Art Deco hotel interior is framed by high ceilings, onyx furniture, mid-century fans, and the curves of archways, all signature touches for the period. There are 75 recently renovated guest rooms with the standard free Wi-Fi. Be transported.
Shepley Hotel
For an intimate experience, try the Shepley Hotel built in 1938. The 29 rooms have vintage furniture but every modern amenity imaginable is available to the visitor. In 2013, Pable Chiappori renovated this Deco jewel and thereby preserved the Art Deco aesthetic. You will think you are on the Titanic by the property interior that recalls a luxury ocean liner.
Riviera Suites South Beach
As its name implies, Riviera Suites South Beach promises a sophisticated experience just steps from the beach and in its beauty lives up to its luxury hotel collection membership. Cardozo Hotel South Beach
Like the hotels above, you can safely assume the Cardozo Hotel South Beach will not only be a beautiful example of the Art Deco style, but that it will afford a unique experience. The hotel is owned by a Grammy Award-winning couple, Gloria Estefan and her producer husband Emilio. The hotel located on Ocean Drive has 43 guest rooms and 4 suites. Some describe the interior style as more Colonial than Art Deco. Its exterior is breathtaking and its multicultural ambience that is the basis of this brand cannot be beat.
Pestana South Beach Art Deco Hotel
Close to the Convention Center you will find Pestana South Beach Art Deco Hotel. The property was totally renovated in 2013. It has 97 rooms and suites and 2 luxurious 2-bedroom apartments right in the business area. It’s within an 8-minute drive by car to Ocean Avenue and the beach.
