Today Wendy Williams gave advice to Jocelyn, celebrity RHOA character, for how to hatch an alternative plan for determining paternity. Stevie J, her husband or the person who plays her husband on the RHOA show, does not think he is the father of her baby. Jocelyn says he is. Wendy suggested that Jocelyn turn on her female sweetness, invite herself over to her estranged “Stebbie’s” house, and bring lunch while she is at it. Wendy further advised Jocelyn to wear her best Dorothy of The Wizard of Oz outfit to captivate his attention. Then once she’s inside Stebbie’s house, she is to excuse herself. In private, Wendy suggested that Jocelyn grab a piece of Stebbie’s underwear, his toothbrush and a pair of socks for good measure. Because she can then take these items to the lab to ascertain paternity rather than have a prolonged and nasty quarrel on the television series. The moral to this story is there is more than one way to skin a cat. Perhaps more importantly, Wendy encouraged Jocelyn to have goals that are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and time-bound. This might not be the best advice for creating a story line on reality television. The takeaway is when you are down, take the time to cry it out if that is needed, then hatch a new plan.
Often my clients are resistant to making a new plan. They ask for advice but if I am not telling them something they want to hear, my communication falls on deaf ears. However, when clients hit the proverbial wall, they return to hatch a new plan. My suggestion to them is to set their goals first. Our plan will then be structured around goals that are Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Time-bound. These are called SMART goals.
Here’s an online virtual strategy to guide you in this process.
Is this how you make plans? What do you think about this process

Great advice and plan. Those words are all too familiar.
