I am not the Frugal Queen when it comes to everything. But for a fast growing grand baby, I know it’s best to keep my eye peeled for a deal and to buy when you catch it. This is what happened on my visit to Target this past Saturday. I could not resist a Target Colors deal.
Every since I left my 9-5 job, I have been weaning myself from the practice of following sales of any kind other than organic fruit and vegetables. It is like once you get started cruising the shelves at a given store, it is so hard to stop. But today I am thinking that my grand bebe, Seu will be 1 year old next month. I have got to start looking at noisy toys that he can bang on for a gift. Instead this One Spot sign stops me in my tracks as I enter the Target store. And from the bare shelves, it looks like I have missed the party. The shelves are bare. This is more proof that it’s hard to resist a Target Colors deal.
My friend Pat has probably been here (smile). She knows altogether too much about the sales practices of Target. I will have to ask her about this tomorrow at Easter dinner. She knows when items are reduced to 50% and then to 70%, what every color sales ticket means for the future and what merchandise is selling at which store. She is the only person I know who can resist a Target Colors deal because she knows exactly when that item will be reduced.
I bought 5 pair of socks for Seu. He is not wearing shoes (yet) but he rocks a different pair of funky of socks every day. And it only cost $5.00 for 5 pair. The Ninja Turtle socks are just perfect for his Easter basket (not that he has a clue). But they make me smile.
What is your latest hard to resist shopping deal?

I love that you stocked up on socks for your grand baby! When I stopped in at the One Spot today, I saw that they already have a sale on their items, 6 for 5.00. I hope they re-stock your One Spot so you can cash in on the deal and get more items for baby Seu.
