It’s not just Baby Boomers who are frightened that the current economic crisis may eat up “all” or “whatever” savings they have. But today this fear was exacerbated by a BBC interview with a 34 year old trader by the name of Alessio Rastani He made the claim that the economic situation was like a cancer and that we all had better get prepared. The Wall Street Journal weighed in quickly with a somewhat non-commital opinion. The twitterverse is twittering and there’s a myriad of comments on the youtube channel.
I agree that I need to do something. The safety net I used to believe existed, no longer exists. In discussions with other boomers, this is a recurring concern. The question is how to hedge our bets, whatever our dispositions. Tell me, do you have a particular concern?
