When you visit Miami Beach, you’ll feel a change in the rhythm of life even though no one will have asked for your passport. Miami Beach is an international city. It serves as the cultural, financial and political outpost for many from the Caribbean and South America who now call it their home. As such, Miami has evolved from a beach town to a metropolitan city with a significant arts scene, club life to match Monaco, the finest beaches with turquoise waters, and hotels that by themselves are worth a trip. This is a destination where you can play out your escape fantasies.

Visit the Arts District for Dance Performances
If you’re an arts and culture person, your biggest problem in Miami Beach will be deciding what to do first. Dance alone offers many choices. See the Miami City Ballet dance in their 63,000 square foot custom-built facility. Cuba sits within miles of the Florida coast. So expect a strong Cuban influence in Miami Beach, including the opportunity to enjoy a performance of IFE -ILE, one of the most preeminent Afro-Cuban dance companies in the North America. In addition there are many contemporary dance companies or flamenco and salsa dance companies expressing a global outlook that will envelope you that is particularly indicative of Miami Beach.

I went to Miami for the first time when in Fort Lauderdale for a Yelp trip a few weeks ago. Very fun city, lots of things going on! The beach was gorgeous, too.

It is a fun city Liz. I am always able to entertain myself. A bit of a fantasy but I love it.
