If you are heading to Madrid and looking for superior hotel accommodations, look among the many five-star hotels in Madrid’s exclusive neighborhoods. Salamanca is one such neighborhood. The area’s street boundaries include Paseo de la Castellana, Calle Alcalá, Calle María de Molina and Francisco Silvela. Within this neighborhood you’ll find the epicenter of Madrid’s elegance. International shoppers love the area for its high-ticket merchandise, for its superb window shopping, and for the opportunity to rub shoulders with Madrid’s old-money rich. The hotels in the Salamanca area are also a prime example of most 5-star hotels in similar neighborhoods. Expect each hotel to have more than one restaurant on its premises, a spa, and high-end wellness facilities. Often these hotels include rooftop bars, fitness centers with the latest machines, swimming pools, and concierge services.
