Once upon a time I had twenty-twenty vision. In fact, for as long as I can remember this was the case. Then suddenly it disappeared. Okay I know it was not actually suddenly. But once my sight started to fade, it vanished quickly. Now I can see things at a distance, but I cannot read the computer screen without glasses. So like many people, I have a pair of glasses in every room.
All of that to say that since I go nowhere now without prescription glasses, I consider them a fashion piece. They must be both functional and flyy. I got turned on to Warby Parker a couple years ago and have since refocused on them because they are so very flyy, are of excellent quality and represent a good value. In fact because of these reasons, they are a competitive pair of glasses.
I am all over the new Karlie Kloss Collection at Warby Parker? These are flattering glasses with a nice help of personality. If I purchase from this collection, it benefits Edible Schoolyard NYC, an organization that builds, maintains, and staffs garden and kitchen classrooms in low-income public schools. The donation will benefit two community farm stands in Brooklyn and East Harlem, where kids learn about food preparation in their own neighborhoods.
And as always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. This is all good stuff.
The collection includes 3 shapes, 2 colors each, featuring ultra strong and lightweight japanese titanium. Each frames comes in both silver and gold metal with a colorful lens. This limited edition collection sells for $145 and is expected to sell out fast.
