Diabetes among African American in particular is prevalent but many of us do not know how to change our lifestyles to control it. I am on the road. But my friend Doc Callum wrote a great post today titled Controlling Blood Sugar to Preserve Memory about the relationship between “sugar,” as folks in the black community refer to it, and memory. Clearly this is a problem that is not limited to African Americans. But because many of us know people who suffer from this disease, it is important to take a moment to understand how and what we can do to avoid or live with this disease. Do take a moment to read it here and give her some love.
