It’s Day 2 of the Domino Project’s online initiative and 30-day writing challenge designed to encourage us to look within and trust ourselves. I found my answer to Day 1’s question of what would you do if you found you had 15 minutes to live more that I wanted to share publicaly.
But today, Liz Danzico has provided the following prompt:
Your genuine action will explain itself, and will explain your other genuine actions. Your conformity explains nothing. The force of character is cumulative. – Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance
If ‘the voyage of the best ship is a zigzag line of a hundred tracks,’ then it is more genuine to be present today than to recount yesterdays. How would you describe today using only one sentence? Tell today’s sentence to one other person. Repeat each day.
My response:
” I know that what I experience today and everyday is a projection of my own consciousness.”
If I live by this then I must rely upon myself. I cannot demand that circumstances change. I take responsibility for transforming my own consciousness. Thanks to Michael Beckwith for this epiphany.
How do you feel about my answer?
Do you agree or disagree? Share in the comments above your position on whether the way you see the world and what you experience in the world are projections from your own consciousness?
