Are you wondering why I am posing with Chloe and Halle Bailey of Radio Disney fame? Better still you may be asking what does this have to do with Boomerwizdom’s focus of “things that matter and aging young? These two sisters won the Radio Disney competition last year and to my ear, deservedly so. Boomerwizdom is all about supporting creativity [at any age]. And I especially find comfort in supporting dreams and fearlessness across generations.
Aren’t these two the cutest? One is now 15 and the other is 14. Macy’s hosted Radio Disney stars Chloe and Halle at the Bridgewater, NJ store last Saturday afternoon with a focus on Back To School fashion. I had chatted with them on twitter @chloeandhalle and when we met, they squealed and said, “Hey BoomerWiz.” We chatted about what they were wearing and I learned their mother had styled them. I marveled at their comfort in conversation.
The music of DJ Lee Ann of Radio Disney warmed the crowd and a line primarily of young girls and their parents and teen boys who looked like Bryan Boy were waiting to get a photograph and autograph. I joined the line. While learning more about Chloe and Halle, guests could enter to win a trip for 4 to Los Angeles where Chloe and Halle now live to visit the Radio Disney Studios and experience a “take over” with a Radio Disney star!
Not to be missed were the actual fashion choices curated by Macy’s staff fashionistas enticing the parents to do a little school shopping. Complete outfits for both boys and girls hung on racks to every shopper’s delight.
The fashions were on trend as in the photo above Look at these perfect outfits for a young girl, not too grown up but definitely not your mother’s selections.
And for the young boys bright red livened up those khakis.
But most of all you have to take a listen to the talent of Chloe and Halle.
I am wishing them the best. They really have it all, talent, looks, fashion sense, influence.
Visit Macy’s for additional fashion selections. Back to School shopping is now full speed ahead.

Congrats to the winners. Yes indeed the girls are cute and smart looking. Odd thing though, I notice all the back to School advertisements I see in press and media are centered on clothing fashions, electronic gadgets and ways to look cool, indeed the one magazine cover spread announced “Back to Cool”. Way to go America.
