With currencies in flux, who isn’t looking for cheap hotels in Paris? So even if you spend many of your evenings in the Latin Quarter on the Left Bank, perhaps you’ll consider a low-cost hotel on the Right Bank where many tourist destinations you will be visiting are located. Here is a short list to help you get started.

West End Hotel
The West End Hotel is in a luxurious area and blends the intimacy of a small lodging with the feel of a boutique property. Five of the 49 rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is pet friendly reflecting the love Parisians have for their pets and hotel internet service is free. Enjoy window shopping in this area that is filled with fashion houses, perfumeries, jewelers, restaurants and museums.
Hotel du Louvre
Hotel du Louvre is another choice hotel in the 9th arrondissement near the Louvre Museum. This is a Hyatt property so you can enjoy the Hyatt’s familiar five-star amenities. You will also be close to the Marais District, a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood where the City of Love’s history will come alive for you. There are 177 rooms, free WiFi, and rooms perfectly sized for families with separate living rooms. The hotel is also handicap accessible and has a fitness center and childcare activities.
Hotel Astor Saint-Honoré
Hotel Astor Saint Honore is a bit different from the Hotel du Louvre in that it offers a more European twist on preferences in lodging. It is modern and clean but without the fuss of the Hyatt. Think of it as a hotel for independent travelers. And if you happen to travel with your four-legged family member, the hotel will also welcome your pet.
Hotel Little Palace
Hotel Little Palace will charm every lover of Art Deco design with its architecture. This hotel is near the Picasso Museum and the Centre Pompidou. It is a 4-star hotel also within walking distance to the Marais. Babysitting, bicycle rental, WiFi, handicap accessibility, and express check-in are all available.
Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon
Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon is family friendly hotel near the Seine and the Gare de Lyon. Children are not confined to the hotel room as it hosts a play area for children. You can save money as two children per family can eat the buffet breakfast free when a parent accompanies them. The hotel has a spa and fitness center and the hotel is near a large Carrefour supermarket.
Indeed the Right Bank is a crowded area with more buildings and people than what you’ll find on the Left Bank. The urban legend is that living here suggested you were rich and stuffy and that for visitors, perhaps it was more difficult to feel comfortable in local establishments. This is, however, an urban legend. Select from one of the many cheap hotels in Paris and enjoy the city.
