Happy New Year To You
2103 was a pivotal year of growth for me, much of it brought about by me actually connecting with you and learning how to implement strategies to encourage you to return to the blog. One of the ways I am measuring how well I am doing is to look at which posts you commented on. I looked to see whether the topics I thought were of interest to you were indeed of interest.
I am stubborn so I will keep trying to figure it out until I do.
So here is 2013 in review based on those posts with the highest number of comment love.
January: I spent the month in Amsterdam and started a new practice of regular exercise in the winter.
March: Does being happier and healthier determine when mid life is or chronological age.
April: Here is a photographic essay looking at The Twelve Apostles along the southern Australian coast.
May: Are you running from or to something? Here’s my review of The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel
June:There is no one answer to how one is perceived regardless of how one feels.
July: If you are thinking of monetizing your website, is carving out a niche the way to go?
July: Insomnia anyone?
August: Ok everyone has felt this way at one point or another but what did you do to get rid of the feeling of invisibility?
September: How not to be a pain in the ass
November:Conversation with my 20 year old self
December;A review of APE (Artist, Publisher, Entrepreneur) – How to Self Publish
As you can see, it is an interesting mixture of topics reflecting the breadth it would appear of your interests. My biggest lesson that you have taught me was to write about what you, the reader, wants to read about and not what I think you want to hear. I’d so love for you to just tell me some of the topics you are interested in reading about. I will do my best to address them in the year ahead.
That is my commitment to you in 2014. Thank you once again.

There is nothing wrong with being stubborn about your dreams and goals! It makes the difference between giving up and being steps away from hitting the jackpot!
In 2014, I’d love to see more about your travels. I know you travel quite a bit whether its to see family or for business. I’d love to see highlights what you loved about where you were !

You are so right Arelis. I am going to stay on the path. Thanks for he encouragement and the site visit. More travel in 2014.

Wow! What a range of topics. I love that you can write on some many subjects and yet bring your readers together to support your site and expand their educational horizons at the same time. Gotta bookmark this!

Yes. One of my lessons for 2013 is perhaps it is too vast. Truth is these really are the things I think about that contribute to a great quality of life. Thanks for your comment Heather.

It makes me think of all of the things that happened in 2013…crazy year..
Patricia A Patton says
2013 was a rich year with lots of experiences and it was also a time of reflection. Focus 2014 is implementation, less research.

Ha! This mule tickled me so much. I am a Taurus to the bones and completely stubborn. I can’t wait to hear more about your story. I still call being self – made being a hustler! 😉 There is an art to it that intrigues me.
Patricia A Patton says
Indeed there is an art to hustling Mandi. And that is why respect is due to those that manage to do it legitimately and correctly. Thanks for stopping by.

I love the mule! LOL If I did a reflection of 2013 of my blog it would look like wine, nail polish with an attempt to be fit…haha!

But I am truly stubborn. Once I get something fixed in my mind, I am there. Worse as I age.
