2013 in Review Reflected Through Comment Love
Happy New Year To You
2103 was a pivotal year of growth for me, much of it brought about by me actually connecting with you and learning how to implement strategies to encourage you to return to the blog. One of the ways I am measuring how well I am doing is to look at which posts you commented on. I looked to see whether the topics I thought were of interest to you were indeed of interest.
I am stubborn so I will keep trying to figure it out until I do.
So here is 2013 in review based on those posts with the highest number of comment love.
January: I spent the month in Amsterdam and started a new practice of regular exercise in the winter.
February: I cannot conceive of a public discussion where men in suits debate whether the public’s taxes should cover erectile dysfunction in the same way that discussions taken place about a woman’s right to decide about her own body.
March: Does being happier and healthier determine when mid life is or chronological age.
April: Here is a photographic essay looking at The Twelve Apostles along the southern Australian coast.
May: Are you running from or to something? Here’s my review of The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel
June:There is no one answer to how one is perceived regardless of how one feels.
July: Insomnia anyone?
August: Ok everyone has felt this way at one point or another but what did you do to get rid of the feeling of invisibility?
November:Conversation with my 20 year old self
December;A review of APE (Artist, Publisher, Entrepreneur) – How to Self Publish
As you can see, it is an interesting mixture of topics reflecting the breadth it would appear of your interests. My biggest lesson that you have taught me was to write about what you, the reader, wants to read about and not what I think you want to hear. I’d so love for you to just tell me some of the topics you are interested in reading about. I will do my best to address them in the year ahead.
That is my commitment to you in 2014. Thank you once again.
