How to work your way through midlife anxiety
Yesterday someone posted a Facebook link to a story with the compelling title  “I Have Lived Over Half My Life” and asked for thoughts. I expected multiple responses.  Mostly because I know, having come down this road, that one of the most anxiety causing thoughts that present themselves as you are aging young is the realization that human life is not physically infinite.
Take a look at this article by Miranda Sawyer, a features writer for the Observer who shares her thoughts on her mind shift. Her answer may not be yours but she is wrestling with the question of how to live her rich life in an interesting way.
At 44 my child was ten. I felt vital, was learning new things every day and he kept me feeling young. I had accepted that motherhood might mean sacrificing other life choices. But I too remember the day I realized the time in front of me was shorter than what had already passed.
Have you have this experience and how did you handle it? Â Please share and RETWEET. Thanks.
